Description

The Poolcotec Marquise is a roller-type automatic pool cover that installs at one end of your pool with a visible above-ground housing unit. Designed for both new construction and existing pool retrofits, the Marquise can be assembled without breakage or rail installation — making it one of the most versatile automatic cover options on the market. With the turn of a key, the Marquise's interlocking slats glide across your pool's surface, providing up to 80% heat retention, dramatically reducing water evaporation, and cutting chemical usage. The 5-chamber slat design provides approximately 30 lbs/sq ft of load resistance, and each slat is individually replaceable and interchangeable. The system runs on a safe 24V IP68 DC motor (UL Marked) powered by a 120V-to-24V transformer housed in an IP67-rated UL Listed control box. Operation is simple: a recessed, key-operated 3-position switch (CSA Certified, IP67/IP69K rated) controls the cover from poolside. Available in standard PVC slats (White, Beige, Gray) or upgrade to premium polycarbonate slats (Clear, Anthracite, Dark Gray, Blue) for a custom look. Important: Poolcotec automatic pool covers are not currently classified as safety covers under U.S. standards (ASTM F1346). They are certified to NF P90-308 European safety standards.
